Since Mommy got last Thursday off for a snow day and we were able to get out, we went to Lawrence to visit the Natural History Museum at KU.

He really tried to see what was in the microscope, but I'm not sure he ever quite figured it out!
After the museum, we met Daddy for lunch at the union and did a little shopping at the bookstore. Buddy got some KU basketball shorts and Mommy finally got her diploma frame (for her Master's diploma)! We couldn't pass up this photo op!! What a nice "cheese" face this is!

It's so different being on campus with a kiddo, isn't it? I don't even know if I remember what it feels like anymore to have been a student!
