Thanks to Grandma Jo, Buddy got a custom pair of chaps for his birthday. They even contain the Miller Cattle Company logo!

Party at the Fieldhouse

We celebrated Buddy's birthday at the Fieldhouse Saturday night for the KU/MU women's game. The game went to overtime and KU won!! It was also pink shirt night, so we all got a souvenir from the party!

The Birthday Boy

It's hard to believe 3 years ago tonight, I was sick as a dog! We went to the hospital, and they ended up admitting me because I was dehydrated. Since we were so close to the due date, they started inducing. So, how about the stomach flu while in labor? Sounds fun, huh? It actually wasn't that terrible looking back. I definitely felt bad for those nurses who had to clean me up, since I had an epidural and couldn't feel when I needed to go (if you know what I mean)!! Nice..

But, isn't he a cute little bugger? This big guy turns 3 on Friday, wow!!

Snow Day Fun

Since Mommy got last Thursday off for a snow day and we were able to get out, we went to Lawrence to visit the Natural History Museum at KU.

He really tried to see what was in the microscope, but I'm not sure he ever quite figured it out!

After the museum, we met Daddy for lunch at the union and did a little shopping at the bookstore. Buddy got some KU basketball shorts and Mommy finally got her diploma frame (for her Master's diploma)! We couldn't pass up this photo op!! What a nice "cheese" face this is!

Everybody Needs an Uncle Matt (or two!!)

Nothing to do, snow days are here, have no fear, Uncle Matt is here! Since Uncle Matt has had some snow days too, he decided to come over today. He brought paint!!! Luckily, Daddy went to work today so he didn't have to worry about things getting messy.

We stripped Buddy to his underwear so he wouldn't ruin his clothes. Not sure if he's the next Picasso, but he really liked painting.

This has been a really hard week on Mommy. She may have to go to work on Friday after having the other four days off!!
