I am so proud of my Jayhawks! They have made it to the Final Four, and they weren't even supposed to be THAT good this year! I realize we may not win the national championship, but I am still excited that we have a chance!!
There was talk that Missouri might make a run for the national title, and I was getting very worried! Fortunately, they choked and didn't make it out of the first round.
I hope everyone has a good time watching the game tomorrow night, and hopefully we get to celebrate like we did last Sunday!!

St. Pat's
For the start of my spring break, we went to the St. Pat's parade in Lawrence. It was like a 2 hour parade, so we left a little early.

After the parade, we headed to Coco Key in KC for the night. We went here a couple of years ago, but we didn't spend the night. Here is Buddy with some cousins from Daddy's side of the family. Buddy insists on wearing goggles in the pool!
Here is Coco, the parrot. The boys were upset that he wouldn't get in the water and swim. Haha!

Babes in Bathrobes

Baby Update
It seems like I haven't done an update on the babies for a long time!! They are almost 4 months old, so it seems appropriate! The best news is that they have both been sleeping through the night for about the last 2 weeks. They go down around 9:30 or 10 and sleep until 5:30 or 6!! This has not been an easy road, especially with little brother!
We went for a quick walk by our house on Saturday in the nice weather. It looks like we will get to take more walks this week with temps in the 70's!
Here is little bro on our walk. He eventually fell asleep, but he loves watching his toy elephant on the car seat!
Sissy slept the whole time! I agree with my dad, she looks like a baby doll sometimes!
Here they are for tummy time. They are getting good at holding their heads up, but they usually cry after about 5 minutes of this!
You can really tell how much bigger he is when they are next to each other. I bet he has at least 2 pounds on her. We will find out next week at their 4 month appointment.

The Great Outdoors
Driving home last week, I thought the clouds looked pretty cool. It is amazing how much more you appreciate nature when you live in the country!
Daddy and Buddy had a cold fishing trip over the weekend. They did catch some fish, though!!
Buddy often wants me to take him fishing, but I don't like to touch the fish like he does!!

The Kids and I
Buddy enjoys using my camera for taking pictures and looking at ones I have taken.
He took a picture of sissy and I last night. Not bad for a 4 year old, huh? This is using my regular camera, but he can use my iPhone too. He can get my phone, unlock it, find the camera app, and take pictures with it. Amazing what kids (who have grown up with technology) can do...
I'm lucky he hasn't found the angry birds app since it is not on the first screen when you unlock my phone. I'm waiting for just the right moment when I am somewhere, and I HAVE TO HAVE SOMETHING to keep him occupied. If I break it out now, he will ask me EVERY SECOND to play it.
